How usage billing works
Drisp charges for runner-time, not seats. A run is a single dispatch of a workflow on a runner, and usage accrues while that runner is executing work.
LLM tokens are billed separately by your configured provider. Hosted runtime and run-history storage are included in Drisp usage; self-hosted Instances run on your infrastructure.

Billing details
What am I billed for?
Drisp bills for runner-time. LLM tokens are billed separately by your configured provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI. There are no per-seat fees or monthly minimums.
What happens when my $100 credit runs out?
We pause your runners and email you. You can add a payment method to continue, or stay paused. Nothing gets billed without your action.
How is usage billed?
Set a payment method; we charge monthly for the previous month's usage. You can set a hard spending cap that pauses runners when reached.
Can I self-host?
Yes. Pair a self-hosted Instance to run on your own infrastructure. Your code never leaves your network. Available on Pay as you go and Enterprise.
Do credits roll over?
The $100 trial credit expires 60 days after signup. After that, you're on usage billing. There is no monthly minimum and no rollover concept.
Can I bring my own LLM API key?
Yes. On Pay as you go and Enterprise, you can supply your own Anthropic or OpenAI key. Drisp dispatches to it directly, and token billing stays with that provider.
How does pricing work for self-hosted Instances?
Self-hosted Instances run on your infrastructure. Drisp billing covers runner usage and orchestration; token costs go to whichever provider you have configured.
What's the difference between Pay as you go and Enterprise?
Mostly governance: SSO, audit logs, dedicated runtime, SOC 2 report, and an SLA. Functionally, Pay as you go has every workflow feature. Enterprise pricing is designed for teams that need volume terms, procurement support, and dedicated operations.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Pay as you go has no contract. Enterprise has annual terms; we don't auto-renew without you confirming.
What if a run fails? Am I still charged?
Failed runs can still consume runner-time and provider tokens. If a failure is caused by Drisp infrastructure, contact support and we will review the charge.
